FSS of Russia revealed US intelligence action carried out through a virus on Apple devices
The Federal Security Service has uncovered a US intelligence campaign that Americans had been carrying out through a virus programme on Apple mobile devices, TASS reports with reference to the FSS Public Relations Centre of Russia
"The Federal Bureau of Investigation, together with the Federal Guard Service of Russia, has uncovered an intelligence action by American special services conducted using Apple (US) mobile devices. In the course of ensuring the security of the Russian telecommunications infrastructure, anomalies have been identified that are characteristic only for Apple mobile phone users and are caused by the operation of previously unknown malicious software (VPO) that uses software vulnerabilities provided by the manufacturer,” the FSS Public Relations Centre informed.
