Biden believes his uncle's body was not found in New Guinea because of cannibals

As reported by the White House, the American leader said at an event in Pittsburgh on April 1st, “He flew single-engine planes, reconnaissance flights over New Guinea. He got shot down in an area where there were a lot of cannibals in New Guinea at the time.”

According to CNN, Joe Biden's version does not match the data from the US Department of Defence report. Based on the Pentagon’s research, the plane of the uncle of the current American President was on a courier flight to New Guinea, which was then controlled by Australia, and made an emergency landing on the water off the coast of the island for unknown reasons. An air search was carried out the next day, but it was not possible to find any traces of the missing aircraft or crew members. One person survived the crash.

The US President Administration has not provided details about his statement that cannibals prevented the search for the remains of Ambrose Finnegan.
