As of January 1st, 2024, the population of the Republic of Belarus amounted to 9,155,978 people, sb.by reports with reference to the National Statistical Committee (Belstat)

As of January 1st, 2024, the population of Minsk was 1,992,862 people. As of the beginning of 2024, 1,308,569 people were counted in the Brest Region, 1,081,911 in the Vitebsk Region, 1,338,617 in the Gomel Region, 992,556 in the Grodno Region, 1,460,289 in the Minsk Region, and 981,174 in the Mogilev Region.

In 2023, there were 9,200,617 people residing in Belarus.
