Belarus to observe presidential elections in Uzbekistan

Representatives of the Republic of Belarus will take part in the international observation of the upcoming presidential elections in Uzbekistan – as informed by the Belarusian Embassy in Tashkent

As reported, the CIS mission will monitor the presidential election campaign in the Republic of Uzbekistan and among its members there will be representatives of both chambers of the National Assembly and the Central Election Commission of Belarus, as well as the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The presidential elections in Uzbekistan will be held on Sunday, October 24^th, 2021. Five candidates are taking part in the election campaign, including the current Head of State, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
