According to Roman Golovchenko, our countries have demonstrated serious resilience in these difficult conditions. In 2023, mutual trade in goods and services exceeded $53bn (in equivalent), showing an increase of 6.5 percent. These positive trends continue this year.

“The momentum has been set very well. Of course, the situation is not easy. In fact, every day new problems appear that we solve together. However, as we have already stressed several times, doing this together is much easier,” the PM addressed his Russian colleague. “This is precisely what the main vector of the Union State integration is aimed at. You are aware that our state bodies have already prepared over 30 joint plans to implement the guidelines of the roadmap for the Union State construction for the next three years. In order to ensure unconditional implementation of the two presidents’ key agreements, I believe it is necessary to speed up the development and adoption of these plans as a single package.”
