Zimbabwe ready to apply for BRICS membership

Zimbabwe's Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Amon Murwira, said his country is at the stage of applying to join BRICS: the African state will wait for a consensus decision of the association’s members, TASS reports

Amon Murwira noted that Zimbabwe is striving to achieve the conditions necessary for joining BRICS. According to him, the country is at the stage of submitting an application and will wait for a response in accordance with the consensus reached within BRICS.
