Xi Jinping: world economy emerging from the depths
The world economy is emerging from the depths, yet it still faces many constraints – as stated by Chinese President Xi Jinping at the 2022 World Economic Forum virtual session on January 17th, TASS reports
"The world economy is emerging from the depths, yet it still faces many constraints. The global industrial and supply chains have been disrupted. Commodity prices continue to rise,” Xi Jinping said, adding that energy supply remains tight and the risks of inflation are surfacing.
According to the President of the People's Republic of China, the countries of the world need to strengthen international co-operation against COVID-19, carry out active co-operation on research and development of medicines. Xi Jinping stressed that the use of vaccines as a powerful weapon against coronavirus is of particular importance.
