Xi Jinping: China will never seek hegemony

Xi Jinping made a statement at a high-level dialogue between the Communist Party of China (CPC) and the political parties of the world – organised via videoconference.

"Modernised China will make the forces that stand for international justice more powerful. No matter what level of development the PRC reaches, it will never pursue hegemony and external expansion," he stated.
