Denis Yezersky, the Head of the Main Department of Ideological Work, Culture and Youth Affairs at the Gomel Regional Executive Committee, emphasised that the year has not been quite simple for the sphere due to the pandemic, and cultural workers had to revise their work. Despite this, many achievements can rightfully be proud of.

The cultural sphere of the region continues developing. At the moment, work is underway to reconstruct the Partisan Source memorial and the House of Culture of the Gomel District.
