A third of the world’s population is still not vaccinated against the coronavirus, including many doctors and the elderly – stated by Director General of the World Health Organisation Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, RIA Novosti reports
According to the head of the WHO, two-thirds of healthcare workers are still not vaccinated against COVID. Vaccination rates are also low among older people in low-income countries – three-quarters of them have not yet received the vaccine.
