White House: US is concerned about strengthening of Moscow-Beijing ties

American authorities are concerned about the deepening of ties between the Russian Federation and China, especially during Russia's military operation in Ukraine – as stated by the Press Secretary of the White House, Karin Jean-Pierre, while commenting on the upcoming meeting of Vladimir Putin and Xi Jinping, TASS reports

Ms. Jean-Pierre noted that the United States had clearly indicated its concerns about the depth of ties between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China, especially in light of the events in Ukraine. "However, I will not talk about their meeting, they can talk about it themselves," she added.
