Vucic said Serbia won’t send weapons to Ukraine

Serbia does not supply weapons to Ukraine and does not plan to do so – as stated by Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic at a joint press conference with his Czech counterpart Milos Zeman, TASS reports

Aleksandar Vucic said, “Serbia’s specialised industry will have a lot of new investments, but also a lot of changes so that they can earn money and sell their weapons. We do not sell weapons to Russia or Ukraine, but we will sell them to everyone else.”

Earlier, the head of the Serbian state already noted that the Russian special operation in Ukraine became the reason for the West’s enormous pressure on Serbia, including on the issue of sanctions against Russia. Aleksandar Vucic has repeatedly noted that Serbia’s accession to the restrictions directed against the Russian Federation will not bring results. As he underlined in an interview with the media last November, Belgrade would impose sanctions against Moscow ‘only with the Sword of Damocles hanging over its head’.
