US sent large batch of HIMARS complexes and Abrams tanks to Poland
Poland has received a large batch of HIMARS rocket launchers and Abrams tanks from the United States, RIA Novosti reports with reference to the Minister of National Defence of Poland, Mariusz Blaszczak
Mr. Blaszczak posted on the X social network, “There is a large supply of US military equipment for the Polish army! Currently, unloading continues in Swinoujscie, initially of eleven HIMARS launchers.”
Along with that, the official said that launchers and M1A1 Abrams tanks with M88A2 HERCULES technical support vehicles would be unloaded next.
Earlier, Warsaw ordered at least 500 HIMARS launchers and 250 Abrams tanks of the latest M1A2 SEPv3 version in the United States, and then additionally bought another 116 used vehicles of the M1A1 version.
