US media: the West lost economic war against Russia
Energy and food prices continue growing in the West, and this is happening because of the sanctions imposed by the European Union against Russia. Senior editor at The American Conservative, Rod Dreher, believes that NATO and the European Union have caught themselves in their own trap of globalist expansion.
According to Mr. Dreher, the EU and NATO have fallen into their own economic trap, which they were preparing for Russia’s President Vladimir Putin. So it is possible to assume that the West has already lost this economic war.
The publication reads that many Europeans do not want to feel cold in their own apartments this winter, to stay in the dark and experience an economic crisis in their country for the sake of supporting Ukraine.
"Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban has been pushing for a peaceful settlement to this conflict from the beginning because the West cannot afford the costs of an energy war," Mr. Dreher summed up.
