US intelligence officer accused Poland of dragging NATO into Ukrainian conflict

There are fears that Poland may involve the countries of the North Atlantic Alliance into the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, and Europe is concerned about the current situation – as noted by former US Marine Corps Intelligence Officer Scott Ritter, RIA Novosti reports

Mr. Ritter believes NATO does not have the infrastructure capable of resisting the power of air defence and heavy armoured vehicles to send its military personnel to the Ukrainian front. According to him, Europe does not really want to turn to such measures.

"Europe is not happy: it is concerned that Poland is dragging NATO into this conflict. No one is now eager in Europe to send military personnel not from Poland to Ukraine. Zero enthusiasm!" Mr. Ritter said.
