US imposed restrictions against companies from Iran, China, UAE, Pakistan, South Africa
The United States Department of Commerce has imposed export restrictions against 70 companies from Iran, China, the United Arab Emirates, Pakistan and South Africa, TASS reports with reference to a notice posted in the Federal Register
It is specified that the Bureau of Industry and Security of the Ministry of Trade imposes restrictions against 70 organisations: 42 companies from China, 19 from Pakistan, four from the UAE, three from South Africa, and two from Iran.
"These structures have been identified by the US Government as acting contrary to the interests of national security or the foreign policy of the United States," the document reads.
Due to the restrictions imposed, suppliers will not be able to send American goods to legal entities sanctioned by the US Department of Commerce without first obtaining a special license.
