Updated National Security Concept to be discussed at Independence Palace
The President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, meets with State Secretary of the Security Council Aleksandr Volfovich – as reported by the Pul Pervogo Telegram channel
It is planned that the meeting will tackle the updated concept of national security. The need for this is explained by the growth of geopolitical instability and the innovations enshrined in the Constitution following the results of the referendum.
“The document has been updated by 70 percent. The list of strategic national interests of the state includes historical memory, the constitutional category ‘people’ and its full protection. Meanwhile, new national interests cover social responsibility of citizens, and not just the state, the security of personal data and the development of nuclear energy”, the Telegram channel message reads.
