Unipolar world is falling to pieces, expert says

The unipolar world based on the United States is now collapsing, and the process began 13 years ago – as stated by Yuri Shevtsov, the Director of the Centre for European Integration, in his talk with Alfa Radio

“It all started in around 2009, when the United States proposed China to create G2 – simply speaking, to rule the world at halves. There are G7 and G20, but we are here speaking of G2. China was asked to get involved into all the burdens that the United States was experiencing at that time while maintaining a monopolar world. China [had to] take upon itself a significant part of American debt obligations. As it is known, the US financial system is built in such a way that the United States has a huge budget deficit and – when needed – it simply prints the necessary volume of Dollars. Since this currency is mainly used in settlements around the world, the country distributes this burden across the globe,” Mr. Shevtsov said.

According to the expert, the US is mired in debt and, for the latter not to destroy the state, an effective system of debt obligations was created.

“People from all over the world invest money in American financial securities, primarily debt obligations. However, this all is based on sand – or, to be more exact, on the fact that the United States is waging another war and robbing another state. China was proposed to take most of the American foreign debt upon itself, and the US actually achieved the goal: China is now the major holder of American public debt. However, the United States wanted much more than it turned out in the end," Mr. Shevtsov explained.

In 2009, the United States demanded that China revalue its Yuan to decrease the competitiveness of Chinese goods in the American market and thus contribute to its own manufacturer.

“The US regularly uses this scheme with Japan, and then decided to involve China – which was also advised to participate either financially or directly in American military actions all over the planet. At that time, in 2009, the United States was waging two major local wars: in Afghanistan and Iraq. Each of them involved about 100-150,000 American servicemen. The United States demands that its allies fulfil their vassal obligations, and Japan even allocated more money to one of the Iraq wars than the United States itself. Or they can participate directly [in a war], with their own armed forces – like Poland. China refused saying that its economy was second after America’s but the country was not rich as many people per capita lived in China. At that time, China's average monthly salary made $200-300. Since that moment, the two countries began to split away,” Mr. Shevtsov stated.
