Union State joint space prospects discussed

The parties discussed issues of promising areas of co-operation between Roscosmos, the National Academy of Sciences and Belarus’ industrial enterprises that are related to space issues.

Development of a Russian-Belarusian spacecraft for remote sensing of the Earth with the subsequent formation of a space grouping (of the Union State) was also in the focus of attention.

As noted, an agreement was reached on the establishment of working groups on other promising areas and programmes in the space sphere.
