Union State electricity market agreement to be submitted to Lukashenko and Putin

The relevant agreement has already been agreed upon by the two countries’ ministries – as stated by Belarus’ Deputy Energy Minister Denis Moroz

The Deputy Energy Minister explained, “This agreement has passed the approval procedures in the ministries, is now undergoing internal procedures and will be submitted to the heads of state in the near future.”

He stressed that, in general, interaction within the framework of the Union State protects consumers in Belarus from ‘any external influences from an energy point of view’.
