UN working to remove barriers to exports of Russian food and fertilisers

The UN is working to remove barriers to the export of non-sanctioned agricultural products and fertilisers from Russia, TASS reports with reference to UN Secretary General António Guterres

According to António Guterres, it is critically important for world food markets to ensure unhindered exports of agricultural products from Ukraine and Russia via the Black Sea.

He also said the UN is working with the US and the EU to remove insurance, financial and shipping barriers to exports of Russian foods and fertilisers. “It is important that all governments and the private sector liaise to bring Russia to the market,” António Guterres concluded.
