Ukraine received four MiG-29 fighters from Slovakia

Slovakia has allocated the first four of the 13 MiG-29 fighter jets to Ukraine. The aircraft were withdrawn from the national Air Force last year, TASS reports with reference to the Slovakian Defence Ministry

Last week it became known about the intention of the Slovak authorities to transfer thirteen MiG-29 fighters to the Kiev regime. The country’s PM announced that his government had approved providing Ukraine with fighter jets on his Twitter page.

According to the CTK Agency, Slovakia’s Prime Minister Eduard Heger said on March 22nd that technical specialists from Ukraine are currently in his country, being engaged into the acceptance of the MiG-29 jets, which Kiev will receive free of charge from Bratislava.
