“The national flag of Ukraine is officially raised at the headquarters of the NATO Co-operative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence in Tallinn, marking official accession of Ukraine to the CCDCOE,” the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported.

TASS recalled that, on March 17th, Russian Ambassador to Estonia Vladimir Lipaev said that Ukraine’s involvement into the work of the NATO Co-operative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence is an attempt to blackmail the Russian side. The diplomat expressed the opinion that such a decision has symbolic significance, as it demonstrates the plans of the West ‘for the gradual involvement of Ukraine into the system of anti-Russian military planning and its integration into the NATO infrastructure’.

The NATO Co-operative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence – headquartered in Tallinn (Estonia) – deals with cybersecurity issues of the military bloc members.
