Ukraine is West’s testing ground for modern confrontation technologies

Speaking of the events in Ukraine, Mr. Muraveyko emphasised the role of the collective West, “Ukraine has become a testing ground for the West to practice its modern technologies of confrontation. Weapons are supplied to Ukraine by the West in order to test them in combat conditions. Moreover, they are delivered so that old Soviet weapons that remained in Western European countries could be disposed of in combat conditions. The increase of capabilities of the military-industrial complex is one of the elements used by the West, since – instead of the weapons supplied to Ukraine – new arms need to be produced, bought and delivered to its countries. This is another round of the arms race. Resonant provocations in the information sphere are also used.”

Mr. Muraveyko stressed that the West is ready to fight in Ukraine not only until the last Ukrainian, but also until the last mercenary, whom it is collecting all over the world.

“Should we react to this? Of course! We are actually responding," the First Deputy State Secretary of the Security Council added. “We are closely monitoring the situation, and receive data from our Russian colleagues about what is happening there almost on a daily basis. We have increased the readiness of the forces and means of our state border service and keep our air defence system in constant readiness to respond to various provocations and incidents. The whole range of measures is ensured, and the system works quite steadily. Importantly, all efforts are focused on ensuring stability and peace in the country. It is now the most important aspect in the foundation of national security.”
