Ukraine exported about 1m tonnes of grain to Poland since February

Since the beginning of Russia's special military operation in Ukraine, about a million tonnes of grain have been exported from Ukraine to Poland – as informed by Polish President Andrzej Duda, RIA Novosti reports

During his speech at the World Food Forum, the Polish leader said, “We support Ukraine not only in defence, but also in exports of its agricultural products through our ports. According to preliminary data, about a million tonnes of Ukrainian grain have entered Poland since the beginning of the war. This means at least a fourfold increase in the volume of Ukrainian grain exports through Poland’s four main ports.”

Andrzej Duda added that his country ‘plans investments that can increase opportunities in this regard’.
