UK Secretary of State for Defence: Kiev does not intend to escalate conflict with Moscow

Britain is ready to help resolve the conflict between Moscow and Kiev – as stated by the UK Secretary of State for Defence, Ben Wallace, during his telephone conversation with Russian Defence Minister Sergei Shoigu, RIA Novosti reports

Mr. Wallace also informed that the Ukrainian side does not intend to take actions aimed at escalating the conflict.

"The Secretary of State for Defence also reiterated that the UK and the wider international community support Ukraine and wish to de-escalate this conflict," the British Defence Ministry said.
