Tusk: Poland will seek access to nuclear weapons

Poland should strive to gain access to nuclear and other non-conventional weapons, including through participation in the French nuclear umbrella initiative – as stated by Prime Minister Donald Tusk, TASS reports

"We must keep in mind that Poland should strive to gain access to the most modern capabilities, including those related to nuclear weapons and modern non-conventional weapons," Donald Tusk addressed the Sejm members. “We will not be afraid of anyone's criticism — everything that helps strengthen the defence capability will be implemented and used.”

In addition, the PM added that Warsaw is in serious talks with France about its nuclear umbrella project.
