Turkish Parliament nominates Erdogan for Nobel Peace Prize

The Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye, Mustafa Sentop, said that he had nominated President Recep Tayyip Erdogan for the Nobel Peace Prize, since he is struggling to resolve the Ukrainian crisis, The Star reports

Mr. Sentop stressed that he had decided to nominate the Turkish President for his efforts to establish peace between Russia and Ukraine. “I have an application. Applications from other countries will be submitted as well," he said.
