Turkish Defence Ministry: 6m+ tonnes grain already exported from Ukrainian ports

At least 6m tonnes of grain have been exported from Ukrainian ports as part of the food deal by now, and several more ships left yesterday, RIA Novosti reports with reference to Türkiye’s Ministry of National Defence

“The volume of grain exported from Ukrainian ports as part of the grain shipment deal exceeded 6 million tonnes. Eight more vessels have left Ukrainian ports today,” the Turkish Foreign Ministry tweeted.

Earlier, the Russian Foreign Ministry said that the geography of the movement of ships leaving the Black Sea ports of Ukraine does not correspond to the UN tasks of helping countries in need in Africa and Asia.
