Turchin: Belarus interested in developing partnership with Chinese CITIC Group

During his meeting with Executive Director and Chairman of CITIC Group Corporation Xi Guohua, the Prime Minister noted, “For us, China is not just a state on the list of trade and economic partners: it is our iron brother, whom we can rely on even in the most difficult times.”
Mr. Turchin stressed that CITIC Group – a corporation founded in 1979 – is highly respected in Belarus. “The company, which initially focused on attracting foreign investment to China, is now a global player – being among the 500 largest companies in the world. We highly appreciate your work experience and a significant number of joint projects. The management of your corporation has met with the President of our country seven times, and this indicates a high level of trust and interest in the further development of our partnership,” he said.
