Turchin announced visits of Belarus’ government delegations to Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan

Two government delegations are scheduled to visit Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan in November to boost bilateral economic relations – as stated by Prime Minister Aleksandr Turchin following his today’s report to the Head of State

Answering a question from the Belarus Segodnya correspondent about the areas of export diversification in the republic, the Prime Minister noted that the Government focuses on all areas of the country's export activities, “However, the CIS states – primarily, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan – are the immediate prospect. These are two very large economies, our long-standing partners. Unfortunately, co-operation with them has not been at the level it should be in a number of areas recently. Two visits of government delegations to these countries are planned in November in order to give an impetus to bilateral relations.”

“These are countries that are close to us, and we understand each other perfectly. We have excellent relations at the level of our heads of state and government. Therefore, we should bring our relations to the level of co-operation that corresponds to the level of our political liaisons,” Mr. Turchin stressed.
