It was noted at the final board meeting that transport services accounted for 50 percent of the country’s exports of services. Work continued to develop optimal logistics schemes for the delivery of Belarusian products to foreign markets. As for the railway transport sector, there has been a significant growth in the volume of container traffic in the China-Belarus-China direction.
“In 2024, the transport sector ensured the fulfilment of all target indicators. Exports of transport services totalled $4.5bn, or 119.6 percent on 2023. By type of transport: road – 112.4 percent, railway – 133.8 percent, air – 113.4 percent. The growth of investments in fixed assets made up 137.4 percent,” Mr. Lyakhnovich gave the details.
