Trailer truck driver tried to attack the military involved in strengthening the border with an explosive device

As reported by the Defence Ministry, on the evening of May 11th, on the section of the M-5 highway, a heavy-duty vehicle driver attempted to attack a group of military personnel taking part in strengthening sections of the state border with an explosive device made of pyrotechnics. Fortunately, none of the servicemen were injured.

"After the attack, the driver tried to escape. The actions taken by the servicemen resulted in blocking the truck. The 51-year-old driver was detained and handed over to law enforcement officers. Signs of extremism are seen in his actions," the source said.
