The second stage runs from February 10th to 20th and includes the joint operational exercise of the Armed Forces of Belarus and Russia: Allied Resolve 2022. During the first stage of the inspection, information support was conducted by the military mass media and press officers of the Information Department of the Belarusian Defence Ministry and the Department of Media Affairs and Information of the Russian Defence Ministry.
More than 150 journalists representing Belarusian, Russian and foreign media are accredited to work at the exercise. For the first time, the Defence Ministry of Belarus also invited Belarusian bloggers and public opinion leaders.
“From February 12th to February 19th, the Defence Ministry of Belarus has planned three press tours to the areas of practical actions of the troops,” noted Inna Gorbacheva. She clarified that on February 12th, Belarusian and Russian journalists – as representatives of the countries participating in the exercise – will visit the Gozhsky training ground. It is planned to conduct combat in the ambush area by combat guard units with enemy reconnaissance. “In the future, manoeuvrable defence will be carried out with the support of aviation and artillery and a counterattack by a combined arms reserve in the enemy’s penetration area. Then there will be the withdrawal from the battle and retreat to the subsequent lines of manoeuvrable defence,” explained the official representative of the Defence Ministry.

It is planned to carry out a combat launch by the Tochka tactical missile system. “Combat launches will be carried out as part of systematic fire actions conducted by the missile forces. During the launch, a group missile attack will be carried out on two objects of a mock enemy at a distance of up to 70km,” noted Inna Gorbacheva.
The final stage on February 19th will include activities at the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground: conducting a defensive battle at a manoeuvrable line of defence, followed by withdrawal from the battle to an operational defensive line, defeating the enemy, conducting a counterattack with a tactical airborne landing behind enemy lines, with the support of aviation and artillery at all stages of defensive combat.
