There are no Belarusian border guards on Ukrainian territory

Belarusian border guards are not taking part in hostilities on the territory of Ukraine – as reported in the official Telegram channel of the State Border Committee of Belarus

“Attempts of psychological pressure on the citizens of Belarus are being recorded now through calls to mobile or landline phones from foreign telephone numbers. Belarusians are informed about the alleged death of border guards or their injuries during military operations on the territory of Ukraine. Names and surnames, as well as other information, are also called,” commented the State Border Committee of Belarus.

The department also added that personal data and telephone numbers of military personnel of the border service agencies – which are often untrue and are distribute by extremist resources – are used for such psychological manipulations.

“Once again, we draw attention to the fact that all Belarusian border guards are on the territory of our country and do not take any part in hostilities in the neighbouring state,” stressed the State Border Committee.
