“The centre’s activity on the university premises will make it easier for researchers to look for information about scientific achievements and activate the work of young scientists. All employees of the institution will have free access to patent and non-patent databases of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO), NCIP and other thematic resources. Moreover, if necessary, users will be consulted, assisted with the search for materials, and training activities will be held on working with databases,” noted the press service.

The establishment and development of the TISC network in Belarus is carried out within the framework of the international project with the support of the World Intellectual Property Organisation. The project is aimed to help expand the innovative potential of countries and regions by providing information and methodological support to users of services in the field of scientific, sci-tech and innovative activities.

At present, 17 TISCs are functioning in Belarus.
