The figures have been announced by Aleksandr Tarasenko, the Deputy Healthcare Minister – Chief Sanitary Inspector of Belarus, in his talk to the ONT TV channel

The official emphasised that, in some countries, children are currently being vaccinated against coronavirus. In Belarus, boys and girls aged 12 and older will probably be vaccinated with the Sputnik M drug when it passes all relevant clinical trials.

“It all depends on supplies. The vaccination campaign can start in December but, in 2022, we plan to vaccinate at least 60 percent of children aged 12 and older,” Mr. Tarasenko informed.
