Tanzania getting closer

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kenya and the United Republic of Tanzania (concurrently), Pavel Vzyatkin, has presented his credentials to the President of the United Republic of Tanzania, Samia Suluhu Hassan – as informed by Belarus’ Foreign Ministry 

During the meeting, mutual interest in the development of Belarusian-Tanzanian co-operation in a wide range of areas was confirmed. The parties highlighted pharmaceuticals and investments as promising areas.

The importance of developing a political dialogue and forming a legal framework for bilateral relations between Belarus and Tanzania was emphasised. It was also noted that the countries enjoy a significant potential to enhance their trade and economic co-operation, including in such areas as agriculture, industry and tourism.
