New tourist tax to be introduced in Bali
From 2024, all foreign tourists who come to Bali will be required to pay a tax of 150,000 Rupees (about $10) before arriving on the island, RIA Novosti reports photo: www.ria.ru Earlier, another tax amount was announced: it ranged from $30 to $100. Bali Governor Wayan Koster said that payments will be accepted electronically. Payment must be made prior to arrival on the island. At the moment, it is not known whether tourists will be able to pay the tax in cash at the airport upon arrival.
