Maslenitsa celebrated in Belarus with burning effigies and pancakes

Maslenitsa traditions are being revived in the Mogilev Region. Since ancient times, Belarusians bake pancakes that are viewed as a symbol of the holiday, visit their relatives and friends, play funny games, sing and dance during the Maslenitsa week.
