It is noted that during the meeting of the three states, the representatives touched upon the implementation of the trilateral agreement concluded in connection with the June NATO summit in Madrid.

“The meeting provided an opportunity to discuss the forms of implementation of the agreement and the measures that the three countries have taken to implement [its] implementation,” the statement said.

The Swedish delegation was led by Oscar Stenström, State Secretary with responsibility for Foreign Affairs and the Security Policy.

Dmitry Yevstafiev, Americanist and political scientist (Russia), said earlier that the expansion of NATO forces at the expense of Sweden and Finland is nothing more than an American expansion plan, which Washington began to develop last year. According to the expert, Washington’s ultimate goal is to increase pressure and form a ring of ill-wishers around the Union State of Belarus and Russia.
