Stoltenberg: NATO completed survey of its munitions stockpiles
The North Atlantic Alliance has just completed an extraordinary survey of its munitions stockpiles – as noted by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, TASS reports
During a press conference with EU foreign policy chief Josep Borrell and Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba, NATO Secretary General said the alliance plans to increase its targets for munitions stockpiles.
“We’ve completed an extraordinary survey of our munitions stockpiles. We will stimulate our industry to increase production,” Jens Stoltenberg stressed.
Earlier, the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service (SVR) reported that the Russian Armed Forces destroyed most of the equipment provided by NATO countries to Ukraine. According to the SVR, since December 2021, the NATO member states have transferred 1,170 air defence systems, 440 tanks, 1,510 infantry fighting vehicles and 655 artillery systems to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
