State Border Committee: Polish border guards force refugees into Belarus’ territory at night

Polish security forces throw out refugees to the territory of Belarus at night, the State Border Committee reports

Last week, Polish security forces twice pushed refugees through a gate on the border with Belarus. Both cases occurred at night. On May 10th and 11th, the Polish military brought a total of seven foreigners on official transport to the Belarusian border, forcing them to cross it through an animal gate in the fence.

The State Border Committee stressed that the Polish leadership still adheres to the practice of using violent methods against people who are in a vulnerable position. Due to the fact that international human rights organisations do not react to what is happening, the Polish security forces feel their impunity.
