State Border Committee: Belarus completed demarcation work on land section of border with Ukraine

The Belarusian side has finished marking the land section of the border with Ukraine, Konstantin Molostov, the Chairman of the State Border Committee of Belarus, told journalists on November 12th after his report to President Aleksandr Lukashenko

Responding to a question regarding the overall activities of the State Border Committee amid the current challenging situation, Mr. Molostov emphasised, “The border guards conduct their operational activities based on the Head of State’s decision, approved in January 2025. We place accents based on the areas of responsibility at the state border. We pay serious attention to the continuation of the demarcation of the state border with Ukraine. To date, we have completed demarcation work on the entire land area. We have only the river section of the border, which runs along the Dnieper and Sozh rivers. In addition, we pay great attention to strengthening the coast, which creates conditions for preserving the territorial integrity of the Republic of Belarus. This primarily concerns the Zapadny Bug River in the Polish direction. We are also conducting activities using the resources of the Union State of Belarus and Russia.”
