State Border Committee: around 200,000 foreigners used visa-free regime to visit Belarus since early 2025
Since January 1st, 2025, 199,070 foreign citizens from 38 countries included in the visa-free list visited Belarus, most coming from neighbouring Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, sb.by reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the State Border Committee
According to the source, since April 15th, 2022, 1,230,807 European residents have visited Belarus. 395,547 foreigners have arrived from Latvia, 655,333 – from Lithuania, and 126,640 – from Poland. As part of the extended visa-free regime for thirty-five European countries, 53,287 foreign citizens have come to Belarus since July 19th, 2024.
As recalled by the State Border Committee, the President of Belarus made a decision to extend the visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European countries until December 31st, 2025, inclusive.
