State Border Committee: about 18,000 Europeans come to Belarus without visas monthly

About 18,000 foreigners from different European countries visit Belarus on a visa-free basis every month, sb.by reports with reference to the Telegram channel of the State Border Committee

According to the source, the Belarusian visa-free regime is not losing popularity. “Last year, the maximum number of tourists who visited Belarus without visas was recorded in the summer, as well as on New Year and Christmas holidays: 20,000-25,000 people per month. This trend is observed for the third year in a row," the State Border Committee reported.

Since the beginning of this year, 33,904 foreigners from 38 countries included in the visa-free list have arrived in Belarus. A total of 1,065,639 European residents have visited the republic since April 15th, 2022. 335,404 foreigners arrived from Latvia, 603,039 from Lithuania, and 107,770 from Poland.
