State Border Committee: 100,000+ foreigners used visa-free regime to visit Belarus since early 2025
Since January 1st, 2025, 100,880 foreigners from 38 countries included in the visa-free list have visited Belarus, most coming from neighbouring Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, sb.by reports with reference to the State Border Committee
According to the source, since April 15th, 2022, 1,132,616 European residents have visited Belarus: 358,511 foreigners arrived from Latvia, 627,403 – from Lithuania, and 115,232 – from Poland. As part of the extended visa-free regime for 35 European countries, 31,470 foreign citizens have come to Belarus since July 19th, 2024.
As recalled by the State Border Committee, Head of State Aleksandr Lukashenko made a decision to extend the visa-free entry for citizens of 38 European countries: foreigners will be able to come to Belarus without a visa until December 31st, 2025, inclusive.
