According to Sergei Shlychkov, the process of introducing science into law enforcement agencies does not stop for a minute, “There is a constant analysis of what is needed in war, and, naturally, there is a search for someone who can produce what is necessary and deliver it to the front. This may include: protective equipment, e.g., body armour, everything related to unmanned aircraft, reconnaissance equipment, battlefield surveillance, automated means for various purposes and communications equipment.”

As the SCST Chairman noted, there were previously military products manufactured according to foreign standards on the Belarusian market, while now we can observe the growth of domestically-produced military equipment, “You have to understand that literally a decade ago we could see equipment on our market that was created mainly on the basis of standards that were not developed by us. Now the development of military equipment and elements has begun in our country, taking place according to a specific plan in order to fill this gap. The basic components may be imported, but what is assembled on them, what contains the software and algorithms, is, of course, Belarus-made.”
