Shanghai Disney Resort to open Zootopia themed zone

The world's first themed area dedicated to Zootopia cartoon will be opened at Shanghai Disney Resort by late 2023, Xinhua reports

"The beloved Disney animation film Zootopia has fostered a strong connection with its audience since its debut. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to bring that very connection to life right here in Shanghai with this one-of-a-kind themed land," Joe Schott, the President and General Manager of Shanghai Disney Resort, said.

The themed land will become the eighth one in the entertainment complex. Its construction began in December 2019 and has now entered the final stage.
