Sergeyenko: it’s important now to maintain solidary style of parliamentarians’ interaction with all branches of power
It’s important to maintain a solidary style of interaction between parliamentarians and all branches of power and state bodies – as noted by Chairman of the House of Representatives Igor Sergeyenko at today’s meeting of the first session of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus of the eighth convocation
“At the same time, each legislative initiative must be viewed in the context of the general tasks facing the country at this particular stage of development. This approach enables us to effectively defend national interests and strengthen people’s trust in the authorities,” asserted Igor Sergeyenko.
The Chairman of the House of Representatives of the eighth convocation noted that the tasks set by the Head of State are global and at the same time specific.
“Their solution requires an objective assessment of one’s own competencies and an understanding of the prospects for working in the selected commission, alongside a sincere desire and readiness to work for the benefit of the people who have placed their trust in us,” added the official.
